
President John Dramani Mahama has marked his first thirty days in government as president of Ghana as a milestone which features significant projects he has undertaken as promised during his campaign in 2024.
President Mahama has been swift in initiating a number of policies and projects of which he believes are set to reset Ghana and give Ghanaians a more sustainable approach to living.
The progress of President Mahama was aired on Monday, January 10, 2024 in a public broadcast to render an account of how much progress he has made in the past four weeks.
President Mahama, in under thirty days of his governance as President has constituted a working team for the presidency, both for the President and Vice president’s office, set in motion the processes for the review of the 1992 constitution, put together a planning team to work on a National Economic Dialogue, announced a team to plan a national forum on education, began the National Tripartite Committee Negotiations with the view to setting the base pay and minimum wage, announced the 2025 Hajj Fare, which is GHS 13,000 cheaper than what was paid last year and also initiated step in implementing the 120- day social contract with Ghanaians.
