President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has constituted new governing boards for four key state-owned media entities in Ghana, including the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), in line with the provisions of Article 168 of the Constitution and Section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449).
The other three media outlets receiving new boards are the New Times Corporation, Ghana News Agency, and Graphic Communications Group Limited. This move aims to ensure effective governance and strategic direction for these vital state media institutions.

Pursuant to Article 168 of the Constitution and Section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449), the National Media Commission, in collaboration with His Excellency the President, has appointed the following individuals to serve on the governing boards of public corporations responsible for managing state-owned media entities.
