President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of Ghana’s security personnel during the commissioning of 320 newly constructed housing units for the Ghana Police Service at Tesano, Accra on Tuesday, July 23.
He emphasized that building affordable and decent housing for the Police Service is a top priority aimed at significantly alleviating the accommodation challenges faced by personnel.
The President acknowledged the immense risks and sacrifices made by police officers who put their lives on the line to protect citizens, and therefore, deserve a safe, secure, and comfortable place to rest after a long day’s work. He stressed that this will not only enhance their morale and motivation to serve but also boost their overall performance and dedication to duty.
He added that government will spare no effort in ensuring the welfare and well-being of security personnel, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the nation’s peace and stability.
