John Boadu, Former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been appointed as the new Acting Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority, SIGA.
Following the retirement of Ambassador Edward Boateng, General Manager (Operations), Hollistar Duah Yentumi was appointed to act as Director General effective in a letter dated 16th November 2023.
Less than three weeks after her appointment, a new letter dated 11th December 2023 from the Presidency, annouced John Boadu; former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, as Acting Director General of SIGA pending receipt of advice from the Authority’s governing board in consultation with the Public Service Commission.
Ms. Duah-Yentumi had been serving as the General Manager in charge of Operations at SIGA since its inception in 2019.
In an official letter, the President extended congratulations to John Boadu on his appointment and emphasized the significance of his role in advancing the mission and objectives of the State Interests and Governance Authority.
