The Deputy National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Ako Gunn has opined that political apathy and party affiliations are collapsing churches in this country.
He made known that most churches are being destroyed by the various political factions they have in the church. “You will visit some churches and find them divided because of their different political views and opinions. You will now find active groups belonging to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in churches”
He made these statements on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ with Kwame Afrifa Mensah.
“The place of worship meant to show love and symbolize unity has now become a grounds for division and conflict. What is our country coming to?”, he queried.
“We’re dividing and destroying Ghana because of political apathy which is pitiful and must be condemned”, he said.
