Police arrest Salifu Amoako and wife over son’s involvement in accident which claimed 2 lives

The Ghana Police Service, has arrested Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako and his wife, Mouha Amoako over their son’s involvement in the accident which led to the death of two people at East Legon on Saturday, 12th October, 2024.

The couple are currently in custody assisting the police with investigations.

Elrad Salifu Amoako, aged 16 rammed his mother’s Jaguar SUV vehicle with registration number GN-7801-20 into an Acura which had five occupants, including the driver, Joseph Ackah, leading to both cars catching fire, with two of the Acura’s occupants burning to death.

The two victims have been identified as Justine Agbenu and Maame Dwomoh, both 12 years of age, with one of the victims still on admission receiving medical attention, and two others having been treated and discharged.
