PNP Petitions Prez. Mahama to Remove Okudzeto Ablakwa as a minister and chairman of ORAL Committee

The People’s National Party (PNP) has petitioned President John Dramani Mahama to remove Okudzeto Ablakwa as Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee.

The petition, signed by PNP Chairperson Janet Nabla, cites ethical and financial misconduct during Mr. Ablakwa’s vetting process.

The PNP outlined four major concerns:

1. Misuse of parliamentary loans for personal use.

2. Unexplained wealth and financial investigation request.

3. Luxury travel preferences indicating a disconnect from ordinary Ghanaians.

4. False allegations undermining public trust.

PNP calls for Mr. Ablakwa’s removal and a full investigation by the Special Prosecutor into his financial dealings and conduct.
