Programme Manager of the Expanded Program on Immunization [ EPI] at the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Kwame Amposah Achiano has commented on Christ Embassy church’s Pneumatica Night 2021 that flouted Covid 19 protocols as stipulated by the government.
Speaking to Sammy Eshun on the Happy Morning Show, he stated that the law must deal with all parties involved in making the program possible and for their disregard of measures put in place by government in combating the Covid 19 pandemic, as their actions have put Ghanaians at a greater risk of contracting the virus.

” The police must arrest the leadership of Christ Embassy as well as all entities who made the program possible. Disregarding Covid 19 protocols for ones faith is not pardonable. Their actions puts us all at risks of contracting the virus because it’s contagious.”
According to him, most Ghanaians are of the belief that the Covid 19 virus is under control as a result of the emergence of the Covid 19 vaccines. As a result , they have let their guards down in the observation of all Covid 19 protocol.
Footage of the Pneumatica Night 2021 service, organised on April 30 by the Christ Embassy Church in Ghana at the Fantasy Dome in Accra flooded the internet with attention being drawn to the overcrowded auditorium of the church during the event and a complete disregard for Covid 19 protocols by congregants.

The Fantasy Dome has since been shut down temporary by the City and National Authority . The Events and Meetings Professionals Association of Ghana (EMPAG) has commended the police service for their swift action in investigating the matter and has advised all event organisers to strictly adhere to all Covid 19 protocols .
