Asante Kotoko will have to win in Zambia to ensure their qualification to the quarter finals after drawing 1-1 at home with Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman.
Sogne Yacouba scored a late goal in the 86th to cancel Waleed Hamid’s 33rd minute strike to rescue a point for the Porcupine Warriors.F
Felix Annan (7/10 ) – Can’t be blamed for the goal. Did well and saved Musa’s strike in the second half. Kept his composure very well in the post.
Amos Frimpong (5/10)– Back from suspension, Amos Frimpong struggled in the early stages of the game. Didn’t contribute much on the attack. Looked exhausted in the second half.
Daniel Darkwah (5/10 ) – Difficult game for the left back. Offered less upfront but defended deep. Struggled to deal with Mohammed Edai. Was brought off for Stephen Nyarko.
Agyemang Badu (7//10 ) – Was very solid at the back. Didn’t put any foot wrong in the game. Contributed a lot on the attack with the team searching for the winner. Seems he has learnt his lesson after being dropped in the previous game.
Wahab Adams (6/10)- Unlucky not be on the score sheet. The only player who looked like scoring in the first half for Kotoko.
Umar Bashiru (4/10) – Sluggish on the ball sometimes. Committed a lot of mistakes in the midfield.
Emmanuel Gyamfi (8/10)- Never looked like he was doubtful for the game. Best player for Kotoko. Missed a chance to score in the first half. Capped off his performance with an assist for Yacouba.
Kwame Bonsu (5//10 ) – Not the best of games for the mercurial midfield dynamo. Was closely marked by Mohammed Ahmed. The Sudanese knew he is the heart of the team and never gave him any space.
Sogne Yacouba (7/10) – Stole a point for his side with a late tap in. Not a great performance by the Burkinabe.
Fatawu Mohammed (7/10)- Was denied by the post twice in the second half. So unlucky on his part. Didn’t have a great game as well.
Martin Antwi (4/10 ) – A game to forget for the former Inter Allies player. Struggled to find himself in the game. Was replaced in the first half by Obed Owusu

Obed Owusu (6/10) – Was Surprisingly brought on in the first half to add more on the attack. Worked very hard in the game. His positioning for goal was questionable.
Daniel Nii Adjei (3/10) – Struggled to get himself in the game. Looked exhausted after spending few minutes on the pitch.
Stephen Nyarko (4/10) – Brought on to add more on the attack. But couldn’t influence the game much.

Salim Magoola (7/10) – Well composed in the post. Dealt with all the aerial duels that came on him. He was so unlucky for not keeping a clean sheet.
Babikir Mohammed (6/10) – Was more like a center back as he always dropped inside to help the two center backs. Kept his composure throughout the game.
Saeed Osman Ismaeil (6/10) – Assisted Waleed with the goal with a beautiful cross. Couldn’t get it easy in dealing with Emmanuel Gyamfi. But was solid defensively regardless.
Ibrahim Ahmed Morsal – (7/10) – Very solid at the back. Dominated all the aerial duels against Yacouba. Well composed at the back.
Omer Abdalla (7/10 ) – Just like his partner. Kept his composure very well at the back. Didn’t act quickly to prevent Yacouba from scoring.
Boubacar Diaraa (6/10) – Did all the dirty works in midfield. Made a lot of interventions to stop most of Kotoko’s attacks. Kept it tight always.
Ali Abdelrahman Shaiboub (6/10 ) – Failed to initiate any dangerous attack. Had to draw back many times to help the defenders.
Abdalla Mohammed Ahmed (7/10 ) – Was tasked to limit the play of Kwame Bonsu. Excuted his job perfectly. Didn’t give the star midfielder any space to operate.
Nasirelden Ahmed (7 /10 ) – Great game by Ahmed. Was all over the pitch. Very stubborn on the ball. Looked tired in the second half.
Musa Mohammed Eldai ( 7/10 ) – Great game by the striker. Came close to scoring in the first half but saw his shot hit the side net. Very dangerous on the ball. Won most of his one-on-one battle against the defenders.
Waleed Bakhet Hamid ( 7/10) – Gave his team the lead with a beautiful header. Was always a threat to the Kotoko defenders.

Faris Abdalla Mamoun (6/10) – Added stability in the midfield as they looked to defend their lead.
