Some aggrieved taxi drivers have besieged Happy FM premises to register their displeasure over what they described as inhuman treatments meted out to them by city guards.

They were particularly unhappy about how a city guard allegedly assaulted one of their colleagues, whose right eye got damaged in the process. The affected driver narrated his side of the story on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben Show with Kwame Afrifa-Mensah.

According to him, he was brutalized on March 8, 2019 by about six city guards who were in a pickup and wanted to clamp a colleague driver’s car. The colleague’s car was at a designated parking space at North Kaneshie where the driver was receiving a call.

Recounting the ordeal to Kwame Afrifa-Mensah, host of Epa Hoa Daben, the said driver showed a picture of how his right eye got badly affected after the city guard hit him with a pavement block.
