Parliament commiserates with PPC and family of late Godfred Opoku

L.I to regulate cement Price Hikes: Majority Caucus Expresses disappointment in minority’s conduct

Parliament has expressed its deepest condolence to the family of the late Godfred Opoku popularly known as “HANDS OF GOD” who dutifully served so many years as a member of the Parliamentary press corps who passed away on Wednesday 19,June 2024

“Hands of God” was a Cameraman and a full member of Parliamentary Press Corps who had served for decades on several parliamentary and national events both in and out of the Chambers of Parliament.

Second Deputy Speaker who presided Friday June 21,2024’s sitting,officially announced his demise and the condolences of the Rt. Honorable Speaker,leadership and honorable members to his family and the entire Parliamentary Press Corps.

Meanwhile, majority chief whip,Frank Annoh Dompreh while expressing his condolences,noted that leadership and the entire house will do everything within their power to support in this difficult time.

Additionally, Kwame Governs Agbodza recognized the importance of the Parliamentary Press Corps and joined his colleagues to equally express their condolences and their readiness to support.
