Ghana’s Harry Stacey finished seventh in the Men’s 100m Freestyle event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Competing in Heat 4, lane 6, Stacey clocked a time of 51.12 seconds, falling short of his personal best of 50.57 seconds set at the Africa Aquatics Swimming Championship.
His performance marked Ghana’s first participation in the ongoing Games in Paris.
Next for Ghana is Joselle Mensah, who will compete in swimming on August 3, preceded by Rose Yeboah in the preliminary round of the High Jump.
