Ghanaian actor, Paa Dedemus has encouraged youths to be grateful for whatever it is they have.
According to him, being appreciative of what one has is the only way to make peace with yourself and get blessings from God.
Talking to Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s NsemPii he said, “Despite all I have been through in my life, I’m still content with whatever I have and anything I get”.
He revealed that growing up, he never got anyone to advise him on what to do and what not to do so he has always advised himself and lived his life according to what he can do and what makes him comfortable.
“Also, I have never begged money from anyone before. If you give it to me willingly I’ll take it but, now matter how tough things get for me I will never come and ask you for help. I always figure it out” he said.
Papa Dedemus noted that he does not do it because of pride but because he is just not used to asking favors from people.
He furthered that, “Surprisingly most people who willingly offer to do stuff for me are people I barely know which sometimes amazes me”.
He advised the youth of today, not to depend on anyone and never to live their lives thinking someone owes them a favor or expect anything from anyone but rather, “Be content with whatever it is you have no how little it is”.
