Accra Hearts of Oak legend, Frank Amankwah Mireku has called on head coach Abubakar Outtarra to drop error prone Kelvin Osei Assibey in the Ghana Premier League week 14 fixture.
According to Amankwah Mireku who captained Hearts of Oak to the CAF Confederation Cup victory in 2005, Osei Assibey has committed too many glaring errors which have cost the club vital points.
The comment of the former Phobian captain comes on the back of Osei Assibey’s mistake which resulted in Albert Amoah’s goal for Asante Kotoko against Hearts of Oak over the weekend.
“Osei Asibey wouldn’t make such errors if I were on the Hearts of Oak technical staff. Although he is an excellent player, all evidence points to the training grounds as the source of these mistakes.”
“Accra Hearts of Oak is losing points because of his overconfidence with the ball, which has become a recurring issue in his game,” Mireku said.
