Okwahu United Board chairman Samuel Anim Addo has disclosed to Happy Sports that the team will appeal the ruling by the Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA) Disciplinary Committee in favor of Kwabibirem United.
The two side faced off in a Middle league game which ended abruptly after the fans stormed on the pitch to protest a decision by the referee.
The referee ended the game indicating his life was under threat.
Okwahu United filed a protest after the game against Kwabibirem United for the match to be replayed however their protest was rejected and the three points awarded to Kwabibirem in the ruling from the ERFA .
According to Samuel Anim Addo, the decision from the ERFA is against the rules of football thus they are going to file an appeal.
He made mention of this in an interview on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.
The Ghana Football Association Executive Council member believes Okwahu United will win the appeal as the ERFA made a wrong judgement.
