Obour should have been a teacher in a village – Shatta Wale

Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale in showbiz circles says that former MUSIGA President Obour should have gone into teaching instead of running the Musicians Union of Ghana.

Speaking on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’ he disclosed that, he knew and grew up with Obour. He made known that he [Obour] had the potential to really do well for the association but really did nothing for the MUSIGA.

“I’ll give Obour zero for his work done for MUSIGA. I am being brutally honest.”

According to Shatta Wale, Ghanaian musicians are really suffering because MUSIGA is doing nothing and has done nothing to help the industry.

“I am really rich and have the money but what about the other people in the industry? The young people and the fast rising ones”, he asked host of the show Doctar Cann.

Shatta Wale is promoting his album ‘Wonderboy’ which has hit song Melissa and is set to be released next week.
