NPP’s Kate Gyamfua is no match for me – Hanna Bissiw

Newly elected National Women’s Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr. Louisa Hanna Bissiw has asserted that, under no circumstance should Ghanaians compare her to the leader of the ruling party’s women front Kate Gyamfua.

According to Hanna Bissiw, in the political arena, the Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kate Gyamfua is not as good as her because of the successes she has chalked as a politician.

Hanna Bissiw was the Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture and also the former Member of Parliament for Tano South in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Speaking on ‘Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben’ show Hanna Bissiw said, “You can’t compare Kate to me. She should go and compete for a parliamentary seat in NDC stronghold if she can win. I won a parliamentary seat that belongs to the NPP because I’m a strong woman. She can’t even win primaries.”

She added that, she [Hanna Bissiw] is the field marshal of the women front of the NDC and she will make sure the NDC will emerge victorious in 2020 general elections.

She emerged winner among three other contenders at the party’s delegates’ congress over the weekend.
She beat other contenders like Hajia Zaynab Mahama, who was the incumbent National Organizer as well as Hajia Tawa Zakari and Margaret Chiravira to take up the position.

Two other persons who were elected as deputy women’s organizers were Maame Efua and Abigail Elorm.
