The vetting exercise of the ruling New Patriotic Party, (NPP) was marred with uncontrolled anger following the disqualification of fifteen (15) aspirants.

The vetting process which started on March 4, 2020, ended Saturday, March 7, 2020, saw 79 aspirants make an appearance before the vetting committee out of which the fifteen were disqualified.

Fifteen (15) out of 79 Aspirants were not cleared at the Vetting
Out of the 79 aspirants who filed their nominations in the Eastern Region, Fifteen (15) aspirants from nine (9) Constituencies were NOT recommended to contest for the parliamentary candidate’s positions in their respective constituencies. Detailed reports and reasons for their disqualification will be sent to the National Headquarters for consideration and final approval.
