NPP suspends two Walewale executives and one party member

Over 200 NPP supporters switch to independent Joseph Kofi Damtse's camp in Assin South

The New Partriotic Party (NPP) has suspended two executives and one party member in the Walewale constituency of North-East Region with immediate effect over misconduct.

The suspension is in accordance with Article 4 Clause (e), (f) and (g) of the Party’s constitution.

The two executives are Walewale Constituency Vice Chairman, Alhassan Sulemana, Imoro Mahamudu, Constituency Financial Secretary and Magida Saaka, a member of the party.

A statement signed by North-East Regional Chairman, Fuseini Nurudeen, instructed them to hand over any party materials in their possession and refrain from any political activities including attending party meetings, making decisions on behalf of the party and representing the party in any official capacity.

The suspension will remain in effect pending further investigations and deliberation by the Disciplinary committee of the Party.
