A Deputy National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Akamba says the governing New Patriotic Party failed woefully the very day the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo read a plagiarized speech on the day of his inauguration a year ago.
According to him, the NPP lost the good will Ghanaians had for it when the president included Buhari, Mugabe, Iddi Amin, Obama among others in his speech.
As it stands now the president has no speech one year on which is a clear indication the NPP has failed woefully.
He said as if this is not enough there is a new political cliché that has popped up on the lips of every appointee in the Akufo-Addo’s government any time their governance goes bad.
All you hear in recent times is ‘am not aware ‘and these are not mere party people but ministers and their deputies.
These suggests how incompetently they are managing the coffers of the country he explained
Mr. Akamba made this statement on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
According to him, the failures with the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy and its associate problems that led to the death some students across the country is a clear indication the party has lost the good will Ghanaians reposed in the party in 2016 elections.
Anywhere there is a problem if you ask the sector ministers all they will say ‘I am not aware’ leading to some political watchers calling the Nana Addo’s government after a year ‘am not aware government’
