NPP is the only party focused on social interventions - Dormaa East MP

Member of Parliament for Dormaa East, Paul Apraku Twum-Barimah has emphasized that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only political party focused on implementing social intervention policies to alleviate hardships across every household in Ghana.

Speaking to a gathering of party supporters at Asuotiano in the Dormaa East during a mini-rally, he noted that the introduction of programs such as the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), free Senior High School (SHS) education, and free maternal care has benefited the entire country.

Twum-Barimah praised Nana Addo’s leadership during the COVID-19 era, citing initiatives like free water and electricity, hot meals for students, and other interventions. These efforts demonstrate the NPP’s commitment to Ghana’s progress and welfare.

In contrast, he criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for inflicting hardship on Ghanaians during the infamous “Dumsor” era. He believes this legacy showcases the NDC’s unreadiness to effectively lead the country.

He urged citizens to re-elect the NPP in the upcoming elections to continue these beneficial policies and foster Ghana’s development. He stressed the importance of voting against John Mahama and the NDC to facilitate the country’s progress.
