Information reaching Happyghana.com indicates that the Normalisation Committee (NC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has rejected George Afriyie’s [Presidential Aspirant] request to rejoin the GFA presidential debate.

Afriyie had earlier on rejected to participate in the FA’s presidential debate when contacted by the organizers, saying it is irrelevant and also football association is not a political party with opponents for them to engage in a Presidential debate.

Our sources at the NC on Thursday revealed that George’s decision to rejoin the debate was quickly turned down by the organizers after he had emphatically stated that he was not interested when contacted from the onset.
