A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Central Regional Election Directorate, Ebo Koomson, has called on NDC youth, particularly party communicators to exercise patience, as the Mahama-led government has not yet commenced employment initiatives.
Speaking on the Epa Hoa Daben show on Happy 98.9FM with Bismark Brown, popularly known as BB, Mr. Koomson advised the youth to focus on advocating for sustainable employment opportunities rather than lobbying for political appointments.
His remarks come in response to reports that some NDC communicators have threatened to withdraw their services from the party. Mr. Koomson encouraged them to channel their energy into securing meaningful jobs instead of pursuing political positions, which may not offer long-term security.
He emphasized that political appointments are often short lived, ending when a party exits power, unlike permanent employment, which provides more stability.
Mr. Koomson urged party communicators to concentrate on creating pathways to employment rather than calling for political appointments
