NDC kicks off MMDCE interview process in Ashanti Region to select visionary leaders

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, Pious Nkoah, has accused the current Member of Parliament, Alex Tetteh Djornobuah, and his team of attempting to cause chaos in the constituency.

Mr. Nkoah further alleged that the NPP is transporting people from Somanya and other regions to the constituency to manipulate votes in favor of Mr. Tetteh in the upcoming December 7 elections.

In an interview with Happyghana.com, he refuted claims that he had brought in thugs to attack New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters and vandalized properties belonging to the Electoral Commission. He labeled these accusations as unfounded, arguing that the NPP is aiming to discredit him and his supporters to cover up their own dubious deals.
He pointed out that security officers were present at the EC office and would not have allowed him to damage EC property.

He claimed that Mr. Tetteh’s accusations are a strategy to gain support from security forces and other state apparatus.

He called on civil society organizations and concerned Ghanaians to intervene and stop these alleged unlawful actions, criticizing the NPP for neglecting the constituency’s development needs and resorting to unethical tactics to secure votes.
