The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed dissatisfaction with the Electoral Commission’s (EC) decision to contract YASARKO Printing Company for the production of ballot papers.
The party claims that since printing began, YASARKO has not fulfilled its obligations, causing repeated delays and wasting resources allocated for monitoring.
The NDC’s Director of Elections and IT, Dr. Omane Boamah in a Facebook post on Friday, October 25, stated that the EC may have failed to conduct proper due diligence before awarding the contract, raising suspicions that YASARKO could attempt to outsource the printing or introduce unauthorized ballots into the electoral system. The party warns that any such misconduct will be detected by their monitoring team under the #EAGLEEYES initiative.
According to the party, agents and supervisors, deployed on shifts to monitor the printing process, have reportedly uncovered cases where companies printed excessive ballots beyond the agreed limits. Through their efforts, these companies have been compelled to reduce the oversupply and ensure all extra ballots are shredded under strict supervision.
The NDC is urging its supporters to remain vigilant in safeguarding the electoral process while calling for the removal of the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration. The party is campaigning for John Dramani Mahama, promising a 24-hour economy with well-paying jobs and the recovery of misappropriated public funds through a program dubbed Operation Recover All Loot (O.R.A.L).

Because of their #EAGLEEYES, one of the companies contracted by the Electoral Commission to print ballot materials must lose their contract. Since printing commenced, YASARKO printing company has not been printing. Excuses upon excuses…
Total waste of our resources as we keep deploying NDC Agents and Supervisors three times a day on a continuous and sustained 24-hour cycle.
What due diligence did the Electoral Commission conduct before appointing YASARKO to print?
If any company (and the Electoral Commission) believes they won the printing contract not based on current capacity and competence but the company’s strategy was to win the contract by fair or foul means, OUTSOURCE and eventually smuggle the ballots printed elsewhere into the system, the culprits must be joking!

Additionally, because of their #EAGLEEYES companies printing excessive ballot papers (overs), over and above the allowable excess have been made to reduce their “overs”.
Furthermore, there’s firm and irrevocable agreement between the companies and the NDC printing Agents and Supervisors that each of the overs will be counted and accounted for before shredding!
