The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Andrew Augustus Nana Kwasi, has reiterated President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s commitment to completing all unfinished projects initiated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under his new administration.
Speaking to the media, he noted that many of the projects, including the Agenda 111 initiative, were launched by the NPP government primarily to gain voter support. The incoming NDC administration, he said, will thoroughly investigate the funding sources and management of these projects. If the funding is found to be in order, the NDC government will prioritize their completion.
He emphasized that the new NDC government is dedicated to ensuring transparency and accountability. To this end, every project undertaken by the government will include a clear disclosure of its funding sources to the Ghanaian public.
Nana Kwasi also expressed gratitude to the youth of Ghana for their confidence in the NDC, reflected in their votes. He reaffirmed the NDC’s commitment to working diligently for the success and development of the country.
