NDC PC promises apprenticeship and stipend programs to boost youth employment in Dormaa East

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Dormaa East, Rachel Owusuah, has reaffirmed her dedication to addressing youth unemployment in the constituency.

She has outlined plans to introduce a free Apprenticeship Program aimed at enhancing artisanal skills to mitigate economic challenges in the area.

As part of the initiative, apprentices will receive monthly stipends to ease their financial burdens, while their mentors will be compensated to encourage quality training. This strategy is intended to equip the youth with practical skills and secure a brighter future for the constituency.

Rachel Owusuah emphasized the shifting dynamics of Ghanaians electoral behavior, noting that citizens are now prioritizing development and improved living conditions over traditional party loyalty. She believes this shift will be reflected in the upcoming elections, with voters focusing on the current state of the nation.

She also criticized the Nana Addo-Bawumia administration for what she described as poor governance, attributing the country’s challenges to their leadership. Madam Owusuah called on Ghanaians to support John Dramani Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming elections to restore progress and prosperity to the nation.
