The Member of Parliament-elect for the Akrofuom constituency, Joseph Azumah, has called on the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration to prioritize development in its strongholds to foster growth and sustain support.
Azumah revealed that during the campaign period, he accompanied NDC National Organizer Joseph Yammin on his tour of several NDC stronghold constituencies. He expressed disappointment at the lack of development in these areas despite their loyalty to the party.
He emphasized that for the NDC, under the leadership of President-elect John Dramani Mahama, to maintain its hold on power, it must focus on improving infrastructure in its strongholds. This includes investments in roads, schools, hospitals, and other essential social amenities.
Azumah assured Ghanaians that the NDC is committed to serving the nation and urged citizens to rally behind President-elect Mahama to drive progress and development across the country.
