NDC follows up on its request for a forensic audit of the 2024 voters register

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sent a follow up letter to the Electoral Commission to respond to their 17th September, 2024, petition, requesting a forensic audit of the 2024 voter’s register and the EC’s IT system.

A statement signed by the General Secretary of the party, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey said, ‘’ the follow up letter has become necessary due to the fact that, the commission has not had the courtesy to reply our petition till date’’.

The statement added that, the Electoral commission has not officially responded to serious issues raised in the petition.

They have therefore reminded the EC of the critical importance of a credible voters’ register for the December 7th elections, and the need for an audit of the electoral roll and its IT system to identify vulnerabilities and effectively address the numerous anomalies.
