Help realise Africa Beyond Aid vision – Nana Addo to African Governors

The National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Sammy Gyamfi has stated in an interview with Kwame Afrifa Mensah on the “Epahoa Daben” show that the incumbent government under his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo lacks empathy for Ghanaians.

“President Akufo-Addo and his NPP government lack empathy for Ghanaians. I say this because of the current surge in the prices of petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).”
His statement was in reaction to the current increase in fuel prices in the country. The Communication Director said that even though the current government promised to improve the livelihood of Ghanaians, it has done the opposite by causing distress to the citizenry.

Mr. Gyamfi attributed the increase in fuel prices to the “direct bad policies” of the incumbent government as well as the increase in ESLA tariffs. He also called on all citizens to “kick out” the Nana Addo led government.

He added that the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) protest against the increase in fuel prices is not for political advantage. Rather, these protests were to find a solution to the plight of all Ghanaians.
