Nana Addo delivers SONA on February 8

The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will deliver his second State of the Nation Address (SONA) to Parliament on Thursday February 8, 2018.
The address is expected to start at the forenoon of the day in Parliament as part of the constitutional demands of the Fourth Republican Constitution.
Sources are the FSH have confirmed the president will be ready to deliver his SONA, if any unforeseen international engagement does not pops up.
The president will tell Parliament the current State of the Nation and some of the highlights of his administration for the past one year.
Reports emanating from the seat of government has it that the president’s address to Parliament will be centred on the security of the nation, the measures on the creation of jobs for the teeming unemployed youth among others.
The highlights of the president’s address will be the much touted planting for food and jobs, one-district –one factory project, one –district –one dam and how the free Senior High Secondary(Free SHS) policy will be improved upon going forward.
