The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has called on the Ghana Education service (GES) to reinstate the head teachers of Ahanataman Senior High School and St. Roses Senior High School.
According to them, the interdiction of the two heads by GES for allegedly charging unauthorized fees without doing proper investigation is unfair.
Addressing the media, the President of NAGRAT, Angel Cabonu said if the management of GES and the Education Ministry had taken their time to do thorough investigations into the matter, they would have realized that the authorisation of the collection of monies if that is the case will not have come from the school heads.
Again, the monies paid were not paid into the accounts of the heads teachers and if the Parents Association would have been interrogated too, they would have told GES the purpose for which such monies were collected.
