Hasaacas Ladies captain, Janet Egyir is happy to have led her side to the final of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League title.
According to the dependable defender, her greatest wish was to have lifted the continental title.
Hasaacas Ladies lost 2-0 in the finals to Mamelodi Sundowns to miss out on the trophy.
Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports with Joe Debrah on her desire to have won the tournament for Hasaacas Ladies she said, “I was very happy to have captained the team. My greatest wish was to have lifted the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League title”.
“We did play well and I commend my teammates for their efforts”, she added.
Janet Egyir lifted the Ghana Women’s Premier League title, the FA Cup and the WAFU Zone B title as captain of the side.
