Eleven Wonders captain, Rashid Mohammed, says it was his target to finish as one of the best defenders in the Ghana Premier League.
The center-back has been adjudged the best central defender by the Happy 98.9FM Sports team due to his impressive performance in the just-ended campaign.
“I am glad Happy FM has acknowledged the work that I have done this season. It will motivate me to work hard. As captain of Eleven Wonders, I wanted to help the team finish in the top four and also be part of the best team of the season”, he told Joe Debrah after been acknowledged on Wamputu Sports as one of the best defenders in the league.
Rashid also indicated that former Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Poku was his toughest opponent in the just-ended season.
“Kwame Poku is very good because when I played against him I learned a thing or two. He gave me a really tough time when we played against Asante Kotoko. Apart from him there was nobody else”.
