Ibrahim Mutalah Mohammed has on August, 24 truncated the aspirations of Abdul Hanan Gundado and Alhassan Adam of leading the people of Tamale Central in the 2020 general elections.
The Tamale Central legislator who lost his second term bid to represent Nantong constituents in the 2016 general elections has been given another chance by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) delegates to redeem himself in the upcoming 2020 general elections.
Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed polled 737 out of a total votes cast of 1237 to emerge winner, his two opponents Abdul Hana Gundado and Alhassan Adam managed to poll 319 and 181 votes respectively.
Some 524 aspirants contesting for 157 constituency slots, have battled it out at the delegates’ congress of the largest opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be selected to represent it as Parliamentary candidates for the 2020 general elections
