Mourinho trends as PSG thrash Real Madrid 3-0

It seems that some managers somehow manage to live off past reputations despite being sacked multiple times. Jose Mourinho looks like a coach who the game has left behind, yet some Real Madrid fans on twitter are desperate to see him go back to replace Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane left after a successful spell and he was one of the very few Real Madrid managers to leave on his own terms but it is completely plausible that the Real Madrid president brought Zidane back to the club this Summer just so he can sack him.

However, Jose Mourinho has some fascinating experience in Spain, his first spell in charge of Real was a disaster as he managed to fall out with everyone apart from Diego Lopez because he got to play instead of Iker Casillas.

The call for Mourinho’s return comes on the back of Zinedine Zidane earlier abysmal performances since he took over as the manager of the team.

Zidane after Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Real Madrid 3-0 in the champions league opener criticised the intensity of his team’s performance with him as the manager coming under increasing pressure, following their defeat.

A first-half double from former Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria and a second-half injury-time volley from Thomas Meunier condemned the 13-time European champions to defeat at the Parc des Princes.

Gareth Bale also had a goal ruled out by video assistant referee (VAR).
