Ghana’s leading radio brand, Happy98.9FM has climaxed its Mothers’ Day activation dubbed ‘Maame Mo’ in grand style.
The ‘Maame Mo’ activation spearheaded by the brand’s socio-religious program, Nsem Pii honored women who have made it their life’s mission to nurture persons unrelated to them by blood.
The Nsem Pii crew upon careful review of stories shared by listeners about mother figures in their lives selected the 10 best and surprised these women.
On Mothers’ Day, Sunday May 9, 2021, the Nsem Pii crew visited the homes of the best two stories where Maame Owusu Afriyie received a television set from TCL, a hamper full of goodies from fortune rice and a beautiful piece of cloth from ATL.
Maame Doris (Dor) who came second was also honoured with a refrigerator from Get4Less, a goody hamper from fortune rice and a piece of cloth from ATL.
Other winners received goddie hampers from Fortune rice, Yumvita and pieces of cloth from ATL.
Winners of the promotion who were very emotional for being honoured to such a great extent praised the Nsem Pii team for showing them such love and wished the team the best in the coming years.
Coordinator for the ‘Maame Mo’ promo, Bridget Mensah speaking on the activation said, “This is what we mean when we say radio gets results. Radio is all about supporting the community in which we live in and this Mothers’ Day, we decided to honour the great women in our communities who are mothers to all”.
