Real Tamale United FC has appointed Mohammed Munkaelu Junior Attiah as its new Head of Operations and Marketing.
A statement issued by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club, Ahmed Dawoud confirmed Mohammed as the new Operations and Marketing manager and emphasised that his job starts with immediate effect.
“By this appointment, we expect you to use your wide knowledge and expertise in soccer administration to help brand and sell the club locally and internationally.”
Mohammed Munkaelu is a former player, coach and referee in Ghana but now a sports administrator.
He worked with one of the largest football academies in the world (ASPIRE FOOTBALL ACADEMY) as Sports Manager under their ASPIRE FOOTBALL DREAMS Ghana project.
The administrator has led in the restructuring of many football clubs in the country, including, Bazuka FC, Okwahu United, Bofoakwa United and even managed a host of others.
Mohammed is a member of the Gambibgo Ashford FC and others. He is a past administrative head of Tamale Liberty FC and later CEO of Northern Ladies FC, a female club playing in the women’s’ premier league.
He once contested in the 2020 RFA elections for the chairmanship position and proved to be a worthy contender.
