Mohammed Amin Lamptey sends good-will message to boxer Theophilus Tetteh

The moment to prove your mettle as one of the boxers I have personally penciled down as a world beater is here. The time to justify your anger for success in boxing is before you far away in South Africa.

Theophilus Tetteh,as a young boxer, your study rise, official record and as a potential world beater is not only refreshing but very promising.

I became buoyed up with so much confidence ahead of this fight when I chronicled event of your career as a professional boxer from 2017 to date.

Your impressive official record of 15 professional fights,1 defeat,14 victories with 12 of those victories coming by way of knockout(88%) and 72 rounds of boxing spoke highly of your chances in your vacant IBF Continental Africa Super Bantam weight championship against another Africa world title hopeful Ayabonga Sonjica of South Africa.

Undoubtedly I do not think you have any intention to underrate your opponent especially in his own backyard.

Even though Sonjica last fight was in September 2019, when he triumphed over fellow compatriot Innocent Mantengu by a unanimous decision,
he can also boast of an unblemished official record of 9 bouts, no defeat,9 wins with 7 of those wins came by way of knockout(77.78%).

Theo,as I affectionately called you.Your last fight was on March 6,2021.Meaning you are more refreshed than your opponent who was kept away from the ring due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Ghanaians believe in your ability to bring out the chestnut out of the blazing fire regardless of any prevailing circumstances by bringing smile on their faces with a convincing and decisive victory.

I will like to urge all and sundry in Ghana especially members of the boxing fraternity to remember Theophilus Tetteh in their prayers for a sweet victory.

I am highly optimistic that victory is yours and ours(Ghanaians) but please prepare your mind to go for title regardless.

I will like to leave you to ponder on a quote by the legendary Mike Tyson…”YOU NEVER LOSE UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY GIVE UP”.

The quote only reecho the need to be determined and disciplined within the four corners of the ring right from the sound of the bell till the referee signal for the end of the fight and never give up.Remember our popular motto in boxing: “NO PAIN!! NO GAIN!!!

I really believe in your tried and tested trainer,Suleman,to do his part in front of a one-sided,intimidating and partisan crowd and so do the needful and give Ghana this much anticipated victory.

Good luck to Team Tetteh
