The Minority Caucus in Parliament, led by its leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has expressed their determination to stand firm amidst difficult moments.
Addressing the press on Monday February 3, 2025, Afenyo-Markin emphasized their commitment to ensuring that the right thing is done.
“Indeed, we are going through difficult moments, but we will never be intimidated. Aluta continua, victoria acerta. We will not allow ourselves to be cowered. The mighty few and the happy few, we are going to stand our ground and ensure that the right thing is done all in the national interest”.
He assured that the Minority Caucus would not engage in any disruptive activities to obstruct government business.
“We are not going to fight anybody, we are not going to disrupt and obstruct government business.”.
“So far, we have been the most cooperative in the chamber and the NDC should applaud us for supporting them,” he added.
