Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac has named four new players in his 30-man provisional squad for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars coach included Great Olympics star Maxwell Abbey Quaye, RTU captain David Abagna, Vitoria Guimaraes’ Khalid Abdul Mumin and Abdul Salis Samed of Clermont Foot to his squad.
The four players will join the rest of their teammates for pre-AFCON training in Qatar at the end of this week.
Maxwell Abbey has been in top form for the Wonders boys this season, netting eight goals in nine Ghana Premier League games. He is joined by fellow Ghana Premier League player David Abagna of Real Tamale United.

Vitoria Guimaraes’ defender Abdul Mumin is receiving a call up for the first time as well as in-form Abdul Salis Samed.
The team begins preparations this week before Milovan Rajevac prunes his team to a 28-man squad for AFCON 2021.
Ghana will play a series of friendlies in Qatar including a game against African champions Algeria.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group C alongside Morocco, Gabon and Comoros Island.
