The reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama Sporting Club, have made a significant announcement today regarding their sponsorship for the upcoming 2023/24 season. After a successful partnership with Gold Fields, which propelled Medeama SC to new heights in Ghanaian football, the club has revealed Nguvu Mining as their headline sponsor for the upcoming season.

This development follows Gold Fields’ decision not to continue sponsoring the club, marking the end of a fruitful association. The sponsorship from Gold Fields played a pivotal role in transforming Medeama SC into a formidable force in Ghanaian football. Just last year, the club celebrated a historic achievement by winning their first-ever Ghana Premier League title, cementing their status as a dominant force in the league.

Over the weekend, Medeama SC achieved yet another milestone by reaching the group stage of the CAF Champions League. This remarkable feat marked the first time a Ghanaian club had accomplished this in over a decade, underlining the club’s growing stature in African football.
