Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group Kweku Ampromfi has denied the company owes Ghana Airport Company Limited 3 million dollars.
According to him, the company does not owe 3 million dollars as speculated by GACL.
“We do not owe $3 million at the terminal. There are 3 things we have been in discussion with Ghana Airport Company. The tunnel is one, we also have a piece of land we acquired from them close to the Action Chapel area for which they demand grand rights”.
Mr. Ampromfi mentioned that, McDan Group made a commitment of GHc2 million to the Ghana Airports Company Limited on Friday December 20, 2024.
“We issued a cheque to GACL of 2 million cedis that was for what we owed for the terminal.
We got a little surprised when we got to know that GACL has shutdown access to the terminal”, he added.
His comment came as a result of the shutdown of the McDan Aviation Private Jet Terminal by the Ghana Airports Company Limited on Monday December 30, 2024.
