Accra Great Olympics deputy Spokesperson, Seth Power, says Maxwell Abbey Quaye is not ungrateful for leaving The club.
Following his transfer deadline day move to Hearts Of Oak, Quaye signed a two-year contract with the Phobians after leaving city rivals Great Olympics after his contract expired.
During an interview on Happy Sports, Seth Power admitted that it was a painful experience for both the fans and management of Great Olympics after the announcement of Abbey’s departure from the club.
“Well, with all things being equal, we can’t say that the player is ungrateful and we can’t say we are happy but it is football and this is how things run.
“ Well, it was part of the schedule of the team that after his contract had run out, we were hoping he would be able to renew it but that wasn’t the case “ He told Ohene Bampoe Brenya.
“Since the season ended, after returning from the Black Galaxies camp, he returned to training with the club till his contract expired.
