Mary Frimpong and Emmanuel Oduro bow out of Happy Bible Quiz at quarter-finals stage

Two contestants, Mary Frimpong and Emmanuel Oduro, have exited Happy98.9FM’s Happy Bible Quiz contest at the quarterfinals stage, as the competition steadily approaches its final rounds.

Their elimination was due to an insufficient accumulation of points, which prevented them from advancing to the semifinals.

Following a series of rigorous and challenging rounds, the atmosphere grew tense as the results were announced.

Mary and Emmanuel’s exit follows an earlier eviction of Caroline Djan, Joseph Akuetteh Coker, Aken Selorm Yawa and Henry Baffour Acheampong from the competition.

The Christian oriented program currently, in its fourteenth year, has enabled several young people to discover their knowledge about the word of God and promoted biblical education amongst the youth.

The ‘Happy Bible Quiz’ contest continues to instill the word of God and promote biblical knowledge amongst Christians, encouraging participants to strive for excellence in Bible knowledge, spelling, literature and other essential biblical activities.

As the weeks go by, the Happy Bible Quiz will see churches compete against each other for the bragging rights of who knows the bible.

Head of Communication and Marketing at Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company, Ms. Bridget Mensah, speaking after the eviction said, “Finally we are getting closer to the end of the contest and I would like to congratulate all contestants for making it this far, I know the journey hasn’t been easy but with hard work and perseverance you have made it. I also want to encourage all past participants not to lose hope but continue to strive for excellence wherever they find themselves. I wish all contestants who have qualified to the semi-finals to continue to study hard, see you at the top.”
