Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has assured the people of Nalerigu that, if elected, his government will provide the police with the necessary resources to address the issue of armed robbery affecting the town.

He emphasized that under an NDC administration, the safety and security of residents in the North-East Regional capital will be a top priority.

Mr. Mahama expressed concern over the rise in criminal activities and pledged to equip the police with vehicles and other essential tools to combat armed robbery. He also warned criminals that their actions would not go unchecked, as his administration would take decisive steps to restore security.

Mr. Mahama further promised to create an environment where residents, especially women, could go about their daily activities, such as visiting the market, without fear of being targeted by robbers. He vowed that the NDC would work to make Ghana safe again for all citizens.
