The Mahama 2024 campaign has announced a series of youth-focused events, led by flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, scheduled for Monday, August 12, in celebration of International Youth Day.

These events underscore Mr. Mahama’s dedication to addressing the concerns and aspirations of young people.

According to a statement from his campaign team, the day will kick off with the launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Manifesto at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

This manifesto will detail Mr. Mahama’s strategies and commitments to empower the youth and tackle the critical challenges they face.

“The Mahama 2024 campaign is excited to announce a full day of activities led by our flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama, on Monday, August 12th, International Youth Day. The activities will focus on the youth and Mahama’s commitment to addressing their challenges” parts of the statement said.

This event will offer a platform for the youth to interact with Mahama and discuss his policies, particularly those focused on reducing youth unemployment and promoting education, skills development, and entrepreneurship.

The statement, signed by his aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari, emphasized that these initiatives are part of Mahama’s broader vision of “Building the Ghana we want together”.
