Black Stars assistant coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani says he is impressed with the level of progress and efforts of Premier League coaches in the development of football in Ghana.
Didi Dramani with other technical team members of the senior national team have been spotted at match venues of Ghana Premier League and lower Division games as part of the promise made by the head coach Chris Hughton to monitor games.
Chris Hughton promised more home-based players will be scouted and Premier League, lower Division games will be monitored under his tenure as head coach of Ghana.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Happy FM, Didi Dramani said,” During my visits to some match centers, I try to interact with coaches and ask them the purpose of their games. I was delighted with the feedback I got because each one of them kept hammering on the fact that, their aim is to develop Ghana football. This means they are doing something that is deliberate, consistent and putting an approach of patience around it. At the end of the day, I know these coaches will also learn from the conversations we’ve had.
“There have been some recent changes in the structure of Ghana football, from the Division leagues to the PL and it is evident that discipline is being implemented. But there’s room for more improvement and we should try to manage games.”
