Lawyer Kwabena Boateng’s victory in the primary makes him the NPP’s candidate for the upcoming Ejisu by-election, which was necessitated by the unfortunate passing of the late MP, John Ampontuah Kumah, on March 7, 2024.
The Ejisu by-election is scheduled to be held on April 30, 2024, by the Electoral Commission.
Boateng’s triumph in the NPP primary positions him as the frontrunner to retain the seat for the governing party in the upcoming poll.
With Lawyer Kwabena Boateng now set to carry the NPP’s banner, the party will be hoping to maintain its hold on the Ejisu constituency.
