Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has invited seven new players to his squad ahead of Ghana’s double header in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa and São Tomé next month.
The Black Stars will first play South Africa in the opening game of the qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium on 14 November before they jet off to play away to Sao Tome on 18 November.
Appiah named his 23- man squad for the double header on Wednesday with players from the La Liga dominating the squad.
The Ghana coach seemed to have revamped his squad with some new faces as he builds a new side for the future.
The new players called into the team are Razak Abalora of Azam FC, Iddrisu Baba (Real Mallorca),, Christopher Adjei-Antwi (Paderborn), Torric Djibril (TP Mazembe), Kudus Mohammed ( Nordsjaelland), Mohammed Salisu (Valladolid) and Shafiu Mumuni of AshantiGold.
